Ranveer Singh…as Bikram and Arjun Kapoor…as Bala are two Friends and Gunday in this film, both in 1971 , on independence day of Bangladesh migrated from Dhaka to Calcutta (India). Where they searched for food and home but in refuge camp they met a Gunda and due to some misconduct they killed that Gunda person and ran away. They got work in a hotel but owner also hated and kicked them out from his hotel due to negligence of them. Before they knew the world, they knew each other. Such was their bond, such was their friendship. Each time they sought new beginnings, each time they would rise, the world would crush them down. So, they fought again, and again, where together they were unbeatable, they were unstoppable, and they were inseparable. In the years that passed, Bikram and Bala, became Calcutta’s most loved, most celebrated, most reckless, most fearless and most powerful GUNDAY! They got every thing but then Priyanka Chopra…as Nandita came into their life and their life was changed even they changed themselves.
