Mashhad The Place of Martyrdom,, is the second one the largest and most holiest city in Iran and Shia Muslim World,only this is the one city with an Arabic name مشهد. Mashhad is notably known as the resting place of the Imam Reza. A shrine was later built there to commemorate the Imam, which in turn gave rise to increasing demographic development.This city is also known as city of Ferdowsi, who wrote Shahnameh, that is considered to be only National Epic of Iran.
