Hierarch of Siam 1 (Islam in Thailand)

In 1602 AD, a great ship was on way to Siam (Thailand) loaded with a worthy and precious goods but one person on ship was most worthy and precious was Sheikh Ahmed Qomi, a well known Shiite Scholar born in 1543 Hijri, he was also famous in history as a trader and businessman. In history Thailand was known as Siam and it was an exonym was used formerly for especially Central, Eastern and Southern Thailand (except Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat provinces) region called Siam.Sheikh Ahmed Qomi did not know that he would be memorized in history and he would be the the person who introduced Shiites Sect in Siam (Thailand).
